Back with a Blast for 2019, Rocket Race has been taking the South West by storm since it launched in Somerset in 2015.

Our undulating 8k course is jammed packed with a huge variety of challenging and innovative obstacles to run, jump, crawl, climb, wade and swing across, giving runners the chance to have fun whilst testing themselves and achieving new goals.

Keen to encourage families to get fit and have fun together whilst achieving something unforgettable, Rocket Race offers a special family wave for children aged 7+ to run with parents/guardians

Up for a real challenge? Then why not try to Beat the Sweeper! How many laps can you complete before our sweeper team head out to round you up at 2pm?

Event Details
  • How much is it to enter?
    • Sign up as an Early Bird and you can race Apollo for just £40! Be aware, there are only 100 of these tickets available!
    • After early bird, entry rises to £45. The final price rise kicks in from the 3rd April 2019 to £55. For one price, racers can attempt to take on as many laps as you can handle and become a Rocket legend.
    • Family Wave - children aged 7+ can run with a racing adult for £20 and earn a Rocket medal. One adult racer to accompany a maximum of 2 children.  
  • Where is the Race?
    Rocket Race will take place at Toomer Farm, Sherborne Road, Henstridge, SOMERSET BA8 0PH.  
  • What should I expect?
    Whether you’re new to obstacle course running, or permanently mucky at the weekends, Rocketeers can expect an unforgettable experience packed with jumps, crawls, tyres, ropes, water, mud and much more….
    • What time can I register from?
      Registration will open at 8.30am and we would ask that you register an hour before your wave start time. The registration area will be situated close to the Car Park, in the event village.
    • What do I need to bring with me?
      You will need to bring your Race Confirmation , a signed Waiver  and a photo form of ID.
    • What does a Rocket Race Finisher get?
      Let's not beat around the bush..the shiny, hard earned bling is important and we know your going to love our FREE Rocket Race medal. Not only that, but when you'll also get a Retro Cotton TShirt  Rocket Goody Bag and a full of useful stuff!
